Discovery, the loyalty scheme for the Global Hotel Alliance, (a network covering Kempinski, Corinthia, Marco Polo and many more) has just reached 10 million members.
To celebrate, and starting today, it’s running a competition offering 10 days of pretty good-looking prices, with a superb grand prize.
To enter, you just need to click here and enter your details. You will need to sign up for Discovery (for free) if you haven’t already. With a top prize of $10,000 in hotel credit, this one is certainly worth a punt (and given that it’s free to enter, I’m not sure entry even qualifies as a “punt”).

What I really like about this competition is its simplicity. You only need to enter once (and you can do so right now), to get entered into the draw every day, for the full 10 days.
That said, the prizes for Day 2 and Day 8 (see below) require you to make a booking (a hotel stay for Day 2, a Local Redemption Experience for Day 8). Day 3 is also only applicable if you have Elite status (Platinum or Black), as everyone gets Gold on joining.
The prizes
The prizes as follows:

- Day 2, Sat 8 July: Every 10th Booking Is On Us (limit up to US$2000 reimbursed per booking)
- Day 3, Sun 9 July: 10 members will win: Membership Level Renewal (current tier prolonged)
- Day 4, Mon 10 July: 10 members will win: Membership Upgrade to Platinum Level
- Day 5, Tues 11 July: 10 members will win: Membership Upgrade to Black Level
- Day 6, Wed 12 July: 10 members will win: Platinum Local Experience
- Day 7, Thurs 13 July: 10 members will win: Black Local Experience
- Day 8, Fri 14 July: First 10 Local Experience Redemptions Are On Us (members will receive another Local Experience award on their account)

In short, this is a good competition for those who (like me) ordinarily can’t really be bothered to enter competitions. One entry gets you entry into various draws and with absolutely corking prizes available on Days 9 and 10.

I considered delaying competition entry because rules say one prize win and you’re out, and I like the sound of that 10k gift card -which is the last day’s prize.
However, I’m jumping in now as on reflection I think I’d be happy if I won any one of the prizes, and of course the earlier I enter then the more prize draws I shall be in.
