Eurostar has just launched an offer on its premium Standard Premier tickets, with up to 30% off Standard Premier fares.

The discounted routes are from London St Pancras International, Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International to Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais, Disneyland Paris, Lyon, Avignon and Marseille.

As the option between Standard and Business Premier, Standard Premier can be seen as Eurostar’s equivalent of Premium Economy.

Dates?

The offer runs as follows:

• travel from 9 July to 4 November for Lyon, Avignon and Marseille
• travel from 17 July to 19 October for Paris, Brussels, Lille and Calais
• travel from 17 July to 15 October for Disneyland Paris

As a result of the discount, Standard Premier tickets are available from £58.50 each way. This offer will also stack with the £20 off a £60+ spend, currently being offered by American Express (which I have on my Amex Gold).

The sale tickets are non-refundable, but can be changed for a charge of £40 plus any fare difference.

Is Standard Premier Class worth it?

I’m a fan, and at these prices it’s worth thinking about.

You travel in the more spacious Standard Premier seats, and also get served a meal and drinks, with complimentary magazines available.
