There was a small flurry of excitement recently when easyJet announced it was launching a frequent flyer scheme. As we noted at the time, however, in many ways easyJet has long had one: you can earn and redeem Nectar points on easyJet flights.
You will collect 1 Nectar point per £1 spent with easyJet (although you must book the flight via the Nectar portal, linked here: you will not otherwise earn points), and 500 Nectar points will get you £2.50 off an easyJet flight.
You can also earn Nectar points when you spend on eBay. Ordinarily, you earn 1 Nectar point per £1 spend on eBay, but until 31 May 2016 at 8am, you will earn an impressive 10 Nectar points, which given the value of Nectar points at a pretty fixed 0.5p, is a 5% rebate on your eBay spend. To keep it in the travel context, it means every £50 you spend on eBay will get you £2.50 off an easyJet flight.
To benefit from this offer, you simply need to log in to your eBay account and click to activate the offer, which will appear on your eBay landing page either as the above image, or this image:
If it does not appear (it did not for me, initially), you need to open your internet browser in incognito mode and then log in to eBay – the 10x points offer should then appear. Don’t forget to click to activate the offer, it is not automatically applied.
So there you have it – confirmation of a way to spend (and of course earn) Nectar points on flights, and a massive 10 x Nectar points with eBay this weekend. What better time to bid on rubbish you probably don’t need some fantastic additions to your home and garden?

I can’t work out if the 10 x nectar points are only on the deals offers or is it for all purchases via ebay?
