British Airways has loaded its sale fares from Dublin for Christmas 2016 – and the results are impressive to say the least, with Business Class returns to the US as low as €902.
The lowest ex-Dublin fares currently seem to involve flying out on Christmas Eve and returning during the week afterwards.
As you can see from the above screenshot, returns to San Francisco are currently pricing at an incredible €1109.80.
The same fare appears to apply to Los Angeles, Seattle and you can upgrade to First for about €700 per segment. San Diego is also available for a few Euros more. In each case the current Club sale is cheaper than Premium Economy.
Other return fares in Business Class include:
- Miami at €957
- Austin at €1171
- New York €920
- Chicago at €1033.
- Toronto at €1038
- Calgary at €1210
- Vancouver at €1204.
You can even take a further €60 off for 7,500 Avios.
If you’re planning to travel for Christmas this year, and don’t mind booking substantially in advance – we suggest you give some serious thought to the prices available here. Yes you need to start in Dublin, but that’s a short, inexpensive flight from the UK (dare we say, by Ryanair)

Presumably the taxes would be considerably less for a Dublin departure too?
Tom Sumner says
These prices are of course inclusive of tax. But yes, the taxes from Dublin are substantially less, which is why the BA ex-Dublin fares are often so much cheaper than ex-London.
