Where to credit a one-off long-ish Lufthansa economy flight?

The joys of none of the OneWorld nor SkyTeam airlines being nearly as cheap, means about 5,300 miles each way in economy on Lufthansa. I don't currently have any *A frequent flier memberships....

Apparently, the flight is H one way, W the other. http://www.wheretocredit.com/lufthansa/h suggests most programs credit the H leg at 100%. http://www.wheretocredit.com/lufthansa/w suggests most programs credit W at 50%, one or two worse, and United at 75%

That means probably just under 8000 miles in most programs, or just over 9000 with United.

At that point, I'm stuck! I don't think that'd be nearly enough for status with anyone, and unlikely to fly any more *A this year. I figure therefore it'll be credit + burn + abandon.

Does anyone know of a good program to credit to, ideally one which is likely to offer a short-haul redemption with that amount of miles, without crazy high taxes and fees?

    BMI?!?! :D

With *A, I tend to think along the lines of "what program is good if I top up with 25 or 50K from SPG?" rather than trying to figure out how to burn a few thousand miles efficiently. Usually that's ANA for me. Otherwise, just anywhere that doesn't expire like United or Lifemiles.

I also haven't checked lately what the current state of play on Aegean status is...
