Starwood has now vanished from my AwardWallet account. I had 26k Marriott points and 10k Starwood points. My Marriott account now says 32k points. So that's obviously not right! Needless to say, I took screenshots before the process began. I will give them a week to iron out these little problems before I contact them (many people will already be doing so, I have no doubt). Has your transfer gone more smoothly? "The date of your last qualifying activity* was 3/31/2019" *grin*
Haha, nice. My Starpoints seem to have completely disappeared at the moment, so you're doing better than me! As you suggest, I'm going to give it a week or 2 before I get too concerned (fortunately no immediate bookings to do)..
My SPG account has now converted into a separate Marriott account. So I have two. Points in both (Marriott points) look correct.
I've had an email suggesting I combine the SPG and Marriott accounts: "Before you combine, decide if you want to keep your Rewards number or your new SPG number." Which is best? Does it matter?
I don't think it should make a difference, but instinctively I'm going to keep my old Marriott account.
