Hi Apologize in advance for probably a daft question. Can you collect Virgin Atlantic air miles when flying with Singapore Air? We've flown on the Singapore Air new route from MAN - Houston, fantastic flight by the way, got return for £250 over the Easter, great bargain. I have entered my Virgin frequent flyer number when booking as they are partners, but was wandering if you can actually collect the miles? Or can you only use your Virgin miles when booking with Singapore?
You can earn Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles for flights with Singapore Airlines. The exact amount depends on the booking class (shown on your ticket) and the distance, then look it up on the earnings chart at http://www.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/flying-club/partners/airlines/singapore-airlines.html What you can't do is use your Flying Club miles to upgrade a Singapore Airlines booking into a higher cabin
Thank you for reply. So I should have earned Virgin Airmiles when flying with Singapore Airlines.. But nothing is showing on my Virgin Frequent Flyer..It's been couple of months now.. :-(
As long as it hasn't been 6 months since the flight, you can still claim. http://www.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/flying-club/miles/missing-miles.html explains the steps to follow - look under Claim miles for Airline partners
