Hi, I have both a BA Premier Plus CC & Amex Gold Charge Card. My previous policy, which I took out before getting the cards is coming up for renewal soon. Is it worth renewing or will i be covered via either of the cards?

NB. It is just a standard travel cover ie. not winter sports etc which i dont think are covered via amex.

If I had the Platinum card, due to it's much more comprehensive travel insurance I wouldn't bother, but I found that the Gold and BAPP cards I had didn't give me as much cover as the previous policy I had.

It's just worth comparing how much more comprehensive your current policy is compared to that offered by the cards.

In terms of cover, it should be worth noting that the T&Cs of the card do state that in order to be covered, you will have to use the relevant card to make the air ticket (and other relevant) purchase.
