ANA redemptions without fuel surcharge

    I keep reading that the ANA redemptions don't charge fuel surcharge just APD etc.

    So what would be my total cash outlay for this redemption:

    Where have you been reading that ANA redemptions don't have a surcharge? It basically depends on which frequent flyer programme you are trying to use.

    If you are using Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, you will have to pay the YQ (as well as the other taxes and fees)

    Hah, I can't find the link now but from testing it seems you pay everything except the ticket cost.

    Bit of a moot point anyway as it's impossible to find first redemptions ex-UK even 300+ days ahead :(
