Someone on Flyertalk has posted a scan of Aer Club benefits. Apparently they were given out at the Aer Lingus lounge in Dublin last week. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/aer-...club-member-benefits-tier-4.html#post26484144
Very interesting - particularly in light of IAG's plans to merge all the avios programmes next year. Any details at all in the email?
Here's the email in a browser. Not too informative, but definitely a sign that they are closer to launch. http://fly.aerlingus.com/pub/sf/For...i_=Es2K75fTj9WqvnstbL0fU5P30KRIkLYEHbxukcL6U0.
Cheers! Hmm, yes not terribly informative unfortunately. Hopefully we'll get some more details by the end of the month, and they do at least still seem to be going ahead with it
Judging by the thread about this on Flyertalk, I suspect we'll know a lot more by the end of the month.
Another email: "We're delighted to welcome you to AerClub. Based on your last twelve months' flying activity with Aer Lingus, we would like to welcome you to our Green tier membership within AerClub." Green = BA blue then. "We're pleased to tell you that, as a previous Gold Circle applicant, you receive a welcome bonus of 250 Avios points." Well I had that earlier this year, but if you're giving me another 250, I won't complain... "To recognise your loyalty in choosing to fly with us, and to help you on your way towards Silver membership, we're rewarding you with a special Tier Credit bonus." Very generous. Probably not that generous in terms of getting me to silver, but we shall see!
