Just in time for the start of the month, though a little late for some of us booking our August stays, Club Carlson have just launched their ~Q3 promotion: Work Hard, Play Hard. It seems to be fairly simple - double points for checking in "during the week", triple for "weekend", and a 1k bonus if you book on the mobile app. From August 1 through October 31, 2016, you can earn Double Gold Points on weekdays or Triple Gold Points on weekends. Check in Sunday through Thursday = DOUBLE Gold Points Check in Friday or Saturday = TRIPLE Gold Points Book on our mobile app = 1,000 extra points per Eligible Stay Hotels in the middle east use Double Points for stays arriving on Saturday through Wednesday, and Triple Points for arrivals on Thursday or Friday. The 1k bonus for booking on the mobile app pretty much means no cashback (typically 8-10%), so probably only worth doing on short/cheap stays!
Slightly OT. Someone has reported over on HFP that a manual transfer pf clubcard to VA points has hit their account with a 20% bonus added? Now last week there was reports that people set up on auto convert got the 20% bonus which was not advertised anywhere. Has anyone on here converted clubcard manually to VA points this new Q and got this 20% bonus added?
