BA has just released 4 teaser images of its highly anticipated new long haul Business Class ‘Club World’ seat:

As you can see, they haven’t given a huge amount away. The finishes look quite high quality though and it’s certainly going to be a significant improvement on the current 2-4-2 Club World layout.

With perfect timing, 30 minutes ago, I got a message from a friend who had just boarded a flight in Club World complaining about how much worse the seat/layout was than the other Business Class products they’d tried. Not everyone hates the current Club World product, but I think most readers will agree that it’s definitely time for an update!

Bottom line

The good news is that the new Club World seat looks good and I’m sure we won’t have to wait long for the full details and images to be released. The bad news is that I imagine it will take a very long time (years) before the new product is installed across the whole BA long haul fleet…
