Just a quick heads-up that’s there’s a new Amex Hilton offer, this time for £75 back on a spend of £250+.
“Save to Card to get £75 statement credit when you spend £250+ at participating hotels by 15/05/19, pay at hotel checkout. Valid once per Card. Excludes online payments. Terms, locations and payment restrictions apply.”
As you can see above, the offer is only available at participating hotels and runs until 15th May 2019. Check out the full list of eligible properties here – there’s a decent number throughout Western Europe, as well as what looks (at first glance) to be all of Hilton’s UK hotels.
How to register for these American Express offers
If you have an American Express card issued directly by American Express (Amex Gold/Platinum, SPG, BA/BAPP etc), simply login to your American Express online account, scroll down to the “offers” tab and then click on “save to card” when you see the relevant offer.
So far, I can only see the offer on my Amex Platinum, but it might well be available on the Gold and other cards soon, so it’s definitely worth a look.
Conclusion
If you were intending to spend £250+ at any of the eligible hotels, this is a very nice rebate indeed – and it could even make sense to look at switching an existing stay to Hilton.

Rather oddly I get this offer on my Amex Gold credit (always was a credit card) card, but not on my Amex Gold credit (was formerly a “charge card”) card.
I don’t expect anyone to be able to follow that statement.
Just checked and it’s not showing on my Amex Gold Credit card – mine is a new one so credit and not the old charge card.
Believe this offer does work by paying advance rates on stays.
In the past, it hasn’t worked for me on advance purchases. Seems to be hit and miss.
Surely this part of the terms means that advance rates won’t qualify, as by definition they are paid in advance and online, not at the checkout ?
