    Hi All!
Used a BA companion voucher to book 2 biz class tickets in November: SAN-LHR-MAD. Just got an email that they have canceled the final leg of the return (LHR-SAN) What's complicating things is I am currently in Spain and calls cost about a million dollars a minute. Anyone have any experience with this? Trying to figure out the best course of action. Will they just automatically rebook us biz class on a different day? to a different airport? TIA

Assuming that BA is simply reducing the frequency of San Diego, then they should have automatically rebooked you onto a different day.

If you really need to travel on the original date, you'll need to talk to BA, although that can easily wait until you're back in the UK. You should be able to negotiate a change to LAX to London to Madrid on BA metal, but you'd have to make your own way up to Los Angeles.

Far less likely, but notionally possible (especially if you have elite status) would be negotiating a switch to the direct LAX-MAD on Iberia.

But be aware that, this far in advance, BA's only obligation under EU regulations is to refund your Avios and Amex voucher.
