You can top up a Monese account at the Post Office using an Amex

 

Yeah but it's £200/month max which is pretty useless.

Unless anyone had success getting this limit raised?

 

Most banks been instructed not to accept coins even if legal tender. Lots of people got stuck with 5 figs of useless coins.

And then got charged the advertised rate. So like I said, not much use.
