After some delay, Marriott Rewards has finally launched its “29 Ways to Stay” Sweepstakes.
You can reach it by clicking here and logging in.
I’m not sure whether the “game” is relevant to your chances of winning, but you will be asked to match two out of six cards and answer a question about the brand in question.
There is a long list of daily prizes to be won. 6 x 29 = 174 lucky winners will receive 4 free nights at one of the 29 Marriott brands. There are also many prizes consisting of Marriott points.
It appears that almost everybody who plays will at least win something…
Legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), Argentina (excluding Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta and Tierra del Fuego), Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, South Africa and United Kingdom are allowed to play.
Try to set yourself a reminder to play every day, and hopefully an InsideFlyer UK reader will win more than 50 points!
Lee says
You can only win one instant win I think, even just 50 points that’s it.
Rob says
Per day that is right. Or do you mean for the life of the offer. If so what makes you say that.
Craig Sowerby says
It should be per day.
That said, I did squeeze in two plays late last night and won 50 points both times. This morning with Marriott… zilch! nada!
Lee says
I think that’s for whole game not per day. Hope I was wrong.
Craig Sowerby says
I suppose we’ll find out. But where’s the incentive to return more than once, assuming you’ve received points on day 1?
Naomi Charlton says
It says something about discovering a different brand every day – so I’m guessing they want you to go back & there’s more to be won? xxxxx
Lee says
You could increase the odd for winning final grand prize by playing everyday. But that will be a dumb idea if Marriott really think so.
All the adaptations I can see now no one get second price so far.
Robert Iles says
I agreee the T&Cs make it sound like only only one win for the entire game but I assuming someone messed up.
Adam says
Cheers Craig, just won 50 points.
Some lucky so person won 500 PTS last night.
Rob says
50 points my account
500 on my wife’s 😉
Naomi Charlton says
Hey I just won 500 this morning!! Thx so much for tip off Craig!! xxxxx
Craig Sowerby says
Jealous! Congrats! xx
Naomi Charlton says
Ah thx Craig!! You have great weekend – xxxxx
GnarlyOldGoatDude says
4000 Points for my wife.
Certainly worth doing.
The game is rubbish though.
I got one question right, one wrong and one right but they said I was wrong.
Craig Sowerby says
Nice one.
Yeah, the game appears to be marketing propaganda and it doesn’t really matter whether you answer correctly.
MP says
1000 points cheers that will do nicely. Makes a change to win something
rob says
Both accounts won ZERO I really hope that it isn’t just one win for the whole promotion that would be crazy. Suppose I will be able to tell by Monday if we don’t win anything else
Craig Sowerby says
Yeah, both accounts of mine have won nothing since Day 1. Considering we are supposed to have 50:50 odds of getting at least 50 points, this is starting to look a bit fishy…
Rob says
Is this day two or three
Craig Sowerby says
Three. Day 1 launched during late evening British time so my post didn’t get out until what essentially was Day 2.
Rob says
This is crazy the “average” person by way of amount of prizes will win 50 points in a month. What’s the point. Their weekly Sunday promo last year was more generous
Craig Sowerby says
Perhaps Marriott’s new strategy is to see how many members they can annoy without it impacting the bottom line. I agree that zero but maybe you’ll win tomorrow is far better than 50 and you’ll never win again…
rob says
Nothing again, Craig if you speak to Marriott please tell them they are idiots. Something that could have been fun and in reality not cost them too much is just annoying.
