The new (and improved???) Radisson Rewards has announced its first promotion, called “More Reasons to Celebrate”.

For bookings made between 12 March and 15 April, 2018, you can earn:

• stay 2 nights: 5,000 bonus points
• stay 5 nights: 15,000 bonus points
• stay 10 nights: 50,000 bonus points
• stay 20+ nights: 120,000 bonus points

Even though you have a short window to book, you can actually stay between 12 March and 30 June, 2018.

Plus, you can earn an additional 500 bonus points for every booking made using the Radisson Rewards mobile app. Ignore this, since you can receive much higher value from a cashback website such as Topcashback or Quidco. However, if you have any award or Points + Cash stays, you might want to try using the App – you might get lucky.

Our Take

On a per-night basis, you need to be a frequent Radisson guest to really take advantage of this promotion. 20 nights will be compensated with 6,000 bonus points per night. At our valuation of roughly 0.3p per point, that translates into a £18 rebate per night. I suppose that is reasonable enough, although if I had 20 hotel nights over 2-3 months, I would stay at a hotel chain that offers actual benefits to those members with elite status…
