Another Hilton Honors Bonus Offer – up to Quadruple Miles & More Miles

It seems Hilton are really keen to keep the momentum going following their excellent bonus points offers in 2016. As Tom has written about previously, launching tomorrow is their “2k Every Day” promotion, and we have also looked at how to improve on that at their premium brands.

Well, as a newly initiated Miles & More miles collector, I have stumbled upon yet another offer launching 1 February and running until 30 April 2017, which may be of interest.

What’s the deal?

If you register via this link, during the promo period, Hilton Honors will award you:

What’s the catch?

First, this is a “per stay” offer. If you check in for one night, or ten nights at the same hotel, that’s one stay. Hilton Honors are also pretty explicit in their T&Cs that consecutive nights in the same hotel will count as a stay even if you check out and in again.

Secondly, you must have already linked your Miles & More account to your HHonors account and have it set as your “DoubleDip” earning style preference in your account. This means you are (ordinarily) swapping your 5 Bonus Points / USD earning option to earn 1 Miles & More Mile / USD. Whether this is worth more to you will depend on your personal travel patterns and mileage ambitions.

However, at 4 Miles & More Miles / USD after the 4th stay, this could be much more attractive than 5 bonus HHonors points!

As usual, you need to book directly to benefit from the promo. Stays booked through third parties (lastminute.com) etc are generally excluded from earning points or miles, so you must book directly with Hilton.

Does it stack with other offers?

As the registration page for the “2k Every Day” offer is not yet live, I can’t check the T&Cs to see if it should stack. However, given previous experience of bonus points stacking with the Visa promotion even on award stays, I’m predicting there is a pretty good chance of it going through!

It’s not clear if it would stack with the Premium Brand deal as the T&Cs for that state “Offer is not transferable and cannot be combined with other select offers.” but hey – it’s always worth a shot as it doesn’t state your earning preference must be “Points & Points”!
