More than a year ago, Hyatt announced the acquistion of the AMR Collection, an all-inclusive hotel chain. It has taken a ridiculously long time for many of those AMR hotels to join World of Hyatt. But Hyatt has finally announced that 35+ European all-inclusive hotels will be joining World of Hyatt on 7 November, 2022.

Can I Earn and Spend Points Yet?

These hotels cannot yet be booked on hyatt.com.

The award chart for all-inclusive hotels has not be updated to include these hotels either.

But at some point between now and 8 November, 2022, we should receive more details.

 

Will Hyatt Run a Special Promotion?

I certainly hope so!  When a number of Caribbean hotels joined World of Hyatt, you could earn 5,000 points for a 3+ night stay.  (click here for details)

Bottom Line

Some of these hotels might be best avoided.  Some might be well worth considering for a beach vacation. Others might be cheap enough – such as off-season in Majorca – to consider for a quasi mattress run.  In any event, it’s great to see these hotels finally join World of Hyatt.
