Big Avios/Nectar Bonuses Are Coming – Don’t Miss Out!

I would argue that being able to transfer Nectar Points to Avios (and vice versa) is the single best innovation in the UK points/miles world for years. The process for transferring can still be frustrating, but the flexibility it gives you is fantastic – both on the collecting and the spending fronts.

Nectar has some superb bonus points offers coming up (including a 50x bonus!), and you might want to consider planning how to make the most of them. I’m not sure how widely targeted each offer is, but you should be able to benefit from at least one hopefully – just click the links and sign into your Nectar account to check.

Ordinarily, this would be a pretty solid offer in its own right. However, the final offer below is remarkable.

50x Bonus Nectar Points on £10+ spend at eBay

For this one, you’ve got to get the timing just right, as the offer only lasts between 12-1pm on 26th November.

To check whether you’ve successfully registered, head to this page on your eBay account here and you should see the following:

Note that the maximum base points is 300 (for the first £300 you spend on a single item), so the maximum bonus is 15,000 Nectar Points (worth £75, or 9,375 Avios).

There are a couple of additional things to note:

  1. It is possible to pay using Nectar Points and still get the bonus
  2. Certain items on eBay don’t earn Nectar Points and so wouldn’t be eligible for the bonus. Most things should be fine though.

Bottom line

These are some good offers if you want to boost your Nevtar/Avios stash – particularly the last one.

Annoyingly, I bought something recently that would have been absolutely perfect for maximising the 50x bonus, but I should still be able to take advantage.

Are you planning to benefit from the 50x offer? – What have you got your eye on?
