Just a quick heads-up that’s there’s a new Amex Hilton offer, this time for £100 back on a spend of £500+ at Hilton properties in the US:

Here is the offer description:

Save to Card to get £100 when you spend  £500+ at participating Hilton hotels in the US by 31/10/19, pay at hotel checkout. Valid once per Card. Excludes online payments. Terms, locations and payment restrictions apply.

The offer is available until 31 October 2019, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage. Unlike with previous versions of this offer, there is no list of participating hotels; all US Hilton properties seem to participate. 

I have the offer on my Amex Gold and BAPP, but not on my supplementary cards this time. Make sure you check all your cards though.

Slightly oddly, the terms say that you need to visit hilton.com to book, but then that the offer excludes online payments and is only valid on checkout spend. Past offers had the same requirements but then pre-paid online rates did trigger the cashback for me…

How to register for these American Express offers

If you have an American Express card issued directly by American Express (Amex Gold/Platinum, SPG, BA/BAPP etc), simply login to your American Express online account, scroll down to the “offers” tab and then click on “save to card” when you see the relevant offer.

Conclusion

Though not as generous as previous versions of this offer, £100 back on £500+ spend at a US Hilton hotel is a very nice rebate indeed. It could even make sense to look at switching an existing stay to Hilton. For more expensive stays, you could bag the rebate twice if you have the offer on multiple card accounts.
