Lufthansa Miles & More – the loyalty programme that includes Lufthansa Group airlines such as Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, etc. – is offering 500 free miles for members who download the Miles & More app and log-in between 1 August – 30 September, 2017.

It’s worth pointing out that Lufthansa has many different apps. This ISN’T the one from the airline, that you would use for mobile boarding passes, etc. It is a separate one for the loyalty programme Miles & More. So, if you don’t use the above links, at least search for “Miles & More” instead of Lufthansa…

Of course, 500 miles won’t get you far. Miles & More also operates a “hard expiry” policy – your miles will expire three years after being earned, irrespective of activity (unless you have a M&M credit card) – so you won’t even be extending the life of your miles by downloading the app.
