After a delay and technical issues, I’m pleased to say that the Hilton Honors (not HHonors) Spring 2017 promo is now live. Simply register here to earn a bonus 2K Hilton HHonors points per night for stays from today until 30 April 2017.
The details
We have previously looked at this bonus points promo in some detail, noting that it does of course offer particularly good value on lower cost Hilton stays.
Does this offer apply to existing bookings?
Yes. Per the terms and conditions, “Hilton Honors members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/BonusPromotion prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period“. While that obviously means you have to register for the promo before your stay to benefit from the bonus points, it also means that stays booked prior to your registration, but that occur during the promotion period, will benefit from the bonus points.
So, for example, if in November 2016 you booked a stay in February 2017, this will qualify for the bonus points if you register for the promotion before the stay. Indeed, Hilton even confirm this point in their FAQs:
It does appear to be Hilton Season again on InsideFlyer – Craig looked in detail this morning at the changes to Hilton HHonors, while back on the subject of bonus points, Rich flagged a nice little bonus with Miles&More yesterday.
Nick Burch says
As long as your Hilton HHHHonours account is set to points+miles, this also stacks with the 500 bonus American Airline miles per night/stay (depending on brand). That runs until the end of March, registration at https://www.hiltonhhonors.com/ProcessLanding/ProcessLanding/?lp=aabonus

I can’t sign up. Whenever I try to sign in on the promo page it gives the following error:
“null response object returned from WebLoginUserName call”

Strange. I just tried it with my wife’s account (I’d already signed up) and it worked fine. I think the standard procedure here is to use a different browser. Failing that, I’d just try again later – it’s definitely working.
Pangolin says
I tried Chrome, IE, Safari, Safari Mobile, Chrome Mobile. Haven’t yet tried Firefox, Edge or Opera. All failed on several different devices with the same error message.
Any others I should be trying?
Tom says
I am completely stumped. I suggest you speak to Hilton.
Pangolin says
What’s truly bizarre is that I suffered the same problems for each of the last 2 promos. Took days of trying to sign up for each one before I finally succeeded. Another thing is that whenever I tried to sign up for open discount offers like MVP it would always say ‘Invalid login’. These were offers which nobody else had a problem with so there must be something seriously awry with my account.
Tom Sumner says
It seems so. I’d thrash the point out with Hilton to avoid yourself future misery.
