“Today we’ve boosted our cashback rates for all of our members, meaning both our Classic and Plus members have had 10% added to the cashback rates they see displayed on the site.
We are grateful that with our members support we are able to maintain our position. To reward our members for helping us to maintain our position as the UK’s Highest Paying Cashback Site, so with Christmas looming and winter sales just beginning, increasing our rates is just our way to say thank you and to help you save for the most expensive time of year”.
Previously, Classic members (no fee) got a 1% boost and ‘Plus’ members (£5 per year) got 5% – so this is a pretty decent increase, particularly for Classic members.
The way it works is, say for example the cashback rate on something is 20%, with the boost you will now get 22%.
I can’t see a date when the boost ends so I’m not sure if it’s a permanent change or not (I’ve contacted TopCashback for confirmation and will update when confirmed).
At InsideFlyer we genuinely love cashback sites – I’ve personally saved £1,000s over the last few years on travel and other things I would have bought anyway, just for a couple of extra clicks. So higher cashback rates are always welcome!
If you’re looking for some easy cashback ‘profit’, the Groupon offer we posted about a while ago is still going strong. If you haven’t used Groupon before, click through from TopCashback and you will earn £11.00 (used to be £10.10 or £10.50) on any purchase, with no minimum spend requirement.
You can find things for ~£2.00 quite easily (‘The Deal Daddy’ flagged the Big Santa Letter for £1.99 with no delivery fee) – so you should end up £9.00 richer. Alternatively you could transfer the £11.00 to Avios (with the 25% transfer bonus on top) and effectively buy 1,375 Avios for ~£2.00.
A small but very welcome bonus – particularly with the expensive festive season about to start!
