You thought we’d forgotten about #TrainTuesday, but no such luck I’m afraid! The good people at Virgin Red have released another list of Red Routes, this time offering 50% off Virgin East Coast Trains between Leeds (+ Wakefield… “Hey Trainsters!”? – anyone???) and London.

To access the offer, you need to download the Virgin Red App (which I reckon is worth having on your phone anyway for the regular offers it provides – and I’m not really much of an ‘app guy’). Then you just need to select the Red Routes promotion and follow the simple instructions in the app.

You have until the 9th October to book and you can buy tickets for travel dates between 10th October and 16th December (excluding 21st-30th October).

The discount applies to Standard Advance and First Class Advance tickets, which means you can travel between Leeds and London one-way for just £7.25 in Standard Class or £20.50 in FIrst Class – which are fantastic prices!

Each Virgin Red member can only take advantage of the promotion once.

I was really quite sceptical about Virgin taking over the the East Coast line, but (so far) have actually been very impressed – let’s hope it continues!
