If you missed out on the regular Eurostar sale a few weeks back, worry not – Nectar have come to your rescue! As long as you spend a minimum of 500 Nectar points (worth £2.50), there’s another chance to book cheap tickets to Paris, Brussels and Lille for only £58 return.

While there are still a handful of £58 return tickets available on the Eurostar website, availability is a little thin now. Good news though – Nectar have managed to secure an additional 25,000 return seats for the sale! With 15,000 return seats to Paris and 10,000 return seats to Lille and Brussels, that’s quite a few more chances to snag a cheap return.

Bookings need to be made by 28 January, but the best seats will go soon, so don’t delay!

Because it’s in conjunction with Nectar, you need to use at least some Nectar points. The deal is available for pure-Nectar redemptions, or for mixed Nectar + cash bookings. The minimum Nectar points you can use is 500 (£2.50 off), so even if you don’t have many Nectar points you can still take advantage of these additional sales seats. If you have lots of Nectar points, then the number you need for a nice weekend away is even lower than usual. Oh, and unlike many airline redemptions, there are no additional fees – if there’s sale availability, you can have the seat for 11,6000 Nectar points with no additional taxes/fees/charges on top.

There is one slight downside though – you can’t make Nectar Eurostar redemptions online. Nor can you even look online to check availability. What you’ll need to do is ring up Nectar on 0344 811 0811, and get them to check for sale seats and/or confirm normal seat pricing. You’ll need your Nectar card to hand when you ring, plus your credit card if you want to only part-pay with Nectar

Sale tickets are available in Standard class (2+2 seating, fairly good seat pitch), and in Standard Premier. Standard Premier has fewer bigger seats (1+2), and comes with a light meal and drinks. Neither come with lounge access though (unless you have an American Express Platinum chargecard and/or a Eurostar Carte Blanche frequent traveller card)

For Paris, Brussels and Lille, it’s “from” £58 for Standard returns, £109 for Standard Premier returns. Any Belgian Station (so Bruges, Antwerp etc) is £70/£125. The ski train and south-of-France trains seem to be excluded this time, sadly. Booking is needed by 28 January, though the cheapest seats will likely all be gone by then.
