Perhaps I simply missed the news, or I might have stumbled across a scoop. But during a recent hotel search on Kaligo.com, I noticed that British Airways Executive Club is no longer listed as a partner… Vueling Club isn’t listed either…

When I search Google for “Avios” and “Kaligo”, I also end up with a few dead links…

Although I regularly highlight the virtues of hotel chain loyalty programmes, many travellers simply prefer to book their hotel stays in a way that enables them to earn more Avios. Kaligo is one of the more user-friendly ways of doing so…

QMiles are now Avios

Luckily, you will still find Qatar Airways Privilege Club amongst the list of partner miles offered by Kaligo.

As we have written about previously, Privilege Club now uses Avios as its award currency. And you can move those Avios from Qatar over to British Airways Executive Club quite easily – click here to read how.

Bottom Line

Kaligo offers several miles partners that I would consider more valuable than Avios – Turkish, United, Alaska, etc..  But if you want to continue earning Avios with your Kaligo hotel bookings, you will have to route them via Qatar Airways Privilege Club…
