I’ve long talked about my affection for Village Hotels. In addition to a comfortable, modern hotel you get access to fantastic sports facilities and a very passable breakfast. I should perhaps caveat this point by confessing that I rate Premier Inn as one of the UK’s best hotel chains, but again I stand by this assessment…

Anyway, on to the offer in question.

Until 31 December 2021, Village hotels are offering Sunday nights for two from a very reasonable £50. However, that £50 also gets you a £40 dining allowance to spend on food in the Pub & Grill, their in-house restaurant.

The “Pub & Grill” may not offer the finest dining experience in the UK, but it’s perfectly good quality and £40 in dining credit there will certainly cover food for two.

Note that availability at the starting rate is limited, so to get the very best rates, you’ll need to be quick and/or shop around a bit.

But, at best, that’s an effective £10 a night, not £7!

It is. However, book via TopCashback and you’ll get 6.3% cashback!

I can’t absolutely guarantee that will apply to the full £50, but the dining credit is unlikely to affect it – you have still “spent” £50. That means you should get around £3 cashback on the night, bringing your net “room cost” to £7.
