World of Hyatt has given us plenty of advance notice for its next bonus points promotion, to be called (as usual) Bonus Journeys. The promotion will run from 20th July until 15th September 2021.

The promotion is very straightforward. Members will earn triple points for their stays of 2 nights or longer…

How Good is This Offer?

World of Hyatt members earn 5 points per US dollar spent (pre-tax), so that’s currently about 7 points per £1. With this bonus, you would earn an additional ~14 points per £1, so ~21 points per £1 in total.

At a typical value of 1.1-1.5p per point, that would be worth something like 23%-30% back, depending on how high you personally value Hyatt Points.

However, the minimum length of stay requirements is undoubtedly annoying, as many people frequently only stay one night at a time at airport hotels etc…
