UK- based hotel chain Village hotels has just launched an excellent “flash sale” for bookings made from today until 10 May, for stays from 17 May till 30 December 2021.
Not only are rooms for two available at £30 for two people, you’ll also get 50% off food during your stay (via a pre-purchased credit).
The Village Hotels deal – how to get it
To benefit, you do need to be a member of its “Booking Revolution” loyalty scheme, which is free to join here.
By way of example, the £30 rate kicks in at the Village Leeds North more or less immediately, with excellent availability:
However, the Village London Watford has zero availability, but a scattering of rooms at £40 and £50:
Plus, if you’re willing to go later in the year, Watford has wide availability at £40. Which is of course a fantastic price for two people:
Further South, there’s nothing in Bournemouth at £30, but a fair few £40 and £50 rooms, with wide availability at £40 later in the year:
Are Village Hotels any good?
While I concede I write this as a self-confessed Premier Inn champion, I will boldly state that you’ll enjoy Village hotels. The rooms I have stayed in have always been of good quality and comfortable, while the gyms are genuinely excellent.
The restaurants and food definitely have that “corporate chain pretending not to be” vibe, but it’s still perfectly acceptable. If it helps, I have already booked 3 nights in 2021 at the £30 rate.
Sumner’s Final Thought
Village Hotels may not be the peak of luxury, but they are clean, comfortable and “trendy” (granted in a middle aged man wearing skinny jeans kind of way). £30 a night for two people is exceptional value, while the slight price drifts from this at certain hotels still represent a great deal at £40 or £50.
If you’re looking for a decent UK hotel during the course of 2021, you could do a lot worse than this offer.
