Yep!

We write a lot about the finer things in life here at InsideFlyer, but fundamentally what we want to do is help people travel better for less – and Travelodge can be a useful part of your ‘travel hacking’ strategy. Not every trip needs to be all roses and champagne (I’m not seriously suggesting Travelodge for a special anniversary!) – sometimes you just need somewhere reasonable and well located to sleep, so why not save a chunk of money?

That said, it’s important to note that the quality of Travelodges can vary substantially, so check the specific reviews carefully. If you aren’t comfortable or can’t sleep, it doesn’t really matter how cheap a hotel is.

Examples…

Without deliberately cherry picking, the first results that came up for a potential London stay offered a wide range of central options for under £35:

With the 15% discount applied, the price for the Travelodge Covent Garden was reduced to £29.74:    

In most other cities, you can find even cheaper rates. For example the Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly can be booked for as little as £21.24 once the discount has been applied:

 

In general, Sundays and Mondays will have the very lowest rates, but there is plenty of value to be found throughout most weeks. To get a quick idea of what is available, you can use the price-finder tool here.

Anything else?

If you think standard Travelodge rooms might be a bit too basic for you, don’t forget about the (quite nice looking!) ‘SuperRooms’ available at some properties, which can now be booked for as little as £5 more (actually £4.25 with the 15% discount) per night.

Cashback from TopCashback or Quidco might not track because of the discount code, but there’s no harm in trying.

Bottom line

There are some limitations and black out dates, but if you can find eligible hotels/dates that suit you, this is a potentially excellent deal.

Terms

1. The booking must be for a stay at a participating UK Travelodge hotel as listed in the Availability List (found on deals page).

2. The rooms in a participating hotel allocated for this promotion are subject to a limit. Not all the rooms shown as available on our website travelodge.co.uk are allocated for this promotion.

3. The stay must be booked and paid for between 9.30am on Tuesday 11th May and 5pm on Monday 17th May 2021.

4. The overall stay period is from 17th May 2021  – 1st September 2021 (inclusive). This discount will not be available for stay dates within six days (inclusive) of your booking date.

5. The booking must be made on our website www.travelodge.co.uk.

6. The stay must be for a minimum of 1 night and maximum of 7 consecutive nights for the discount off at the same participating hotel in the same room during a stay. Up to 1 room per booking will be eligible for the promotion.
