I ran a post yesterday that flagged a good deal, offering 1 year of life insurance and double Nectar points for as little as £10.
Reader Ian took up this offer, but actually bettered what I had flagged. However, Ian’s mega-deal is only available to over 50s!
Per the Nectar offer, over 50s will get a guaranteed 20,000 Nectar points when they take out a (over 50s) life insurance policy.
Like the other policies, this can be taken out from just £5 a month, and for a term of one year.
That’s a total payment of £60, in return for which you’ll receive:
- Nectar points worth £100
- Double points on your Sainsbury’s shopping/fuel for the cover year.
That’s a pretty good return on a £60 spend – plus you get the cover, for what that’s worth to you!
So, if you’re 50+ and a Sainsbury’s, Argos, eBay or even M&S shopper, this is a fantastic way to make an easy £40.
Why do you keep banging on about Nectar?
We do, but we stand by it. Nectar points now convert to Avios (and back), with 400 Nectar points being equal to 250 Avios. Therefore, Nectar points can get you travelling, and Avios can pay for your groceries.
