After many years of delays and questions over whether it would open at all, Berlin’s “new” Brandenburg Airport is now finally operational.
Our splendid colleagues over at InsideFlyer Denmark (with SAS and Lufthansa), had planned a special trip for readers to fly from Copenhagen to see Brandenburg Airport. As a result of the corona situation, the ‘official’ trip wasn’t possible due to restrictions on the number of people who can meet, however several of the participants still chose to go individually. Naturally, they took lots of pictures and have kindly allowed Insideflyer to share them with all readers.

When leaving the airport there were a few gifts
We look forward to the time when we can once again travel freely and all experience a new airport. In the meantime, we hope you enjoyed the pictures – and many thanks again to the readers who provided them!
What do you think about Brandenburg Airport? It certainly looks nicer than the old (now retired) Berlin Tegel!
