Get Marriott Bonvoy Elite Status In Half The Usual Time (Targeted)

I received an email from Marriott Bonvoy earlier today offering double elite night credits on all eligible stays through to the end of January 2020.

“Registered Members can earn double Elite Night Credits on all eligible paid nights consumed during the promotion’s earning period (the “Promotion”). Earning period starts the day after members register through the end of the month, plus an additional three (3) months (the “Earning Period”). Bonus Elite Night Credits will be awarded to the member’s account within 3–5 business days after the qualifying nights post. “

Registration is required and the offer is targeted, so check your emails and the promotions page of your Marriott Bonvoy account here to see if you are eligible.

Bottom line

Being able to effectively get Platinum status from just 25 nights over 3.5 months, is actually potentially quite tempting – particularly if you’ve already accrued a few nights over the course of the year anyway.

The terms suggest that award stays don’t count however, which is a shame.

I won’t be chasing this offer, but registered anyway because you never know how travel plans might change.

With prices of ~£50 per night for some hotels in London this could be great for retaining status. Thanks for flagging. Think I can see a push for a few weekends away and a mattress run now…
