World of Hyatt has announced a new promotion that will run from 15 August until 30 November, 2019. At a handful of hotels across the Mediterranean and Mexico, Hyatt will refund some of the points spent on award stays.

The promotion requires you to pay full price for your award stay. 6-8 weeks after your stay (hopefully sooner) you will receive a refund of the appropriate number of bonus points.

I don’t particularly recommend visiting Mallorca in November or the Riviera Maya during hurricane season, but many of these hotels are excellent choices for an autumn getaway – Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Milan, etc.
