Hyatt points can be hard to collect for UK-based members. So it’s nice to see that Hyatt is now giving out 500 points for stays at select new hotels. The t&cs make clear that this promo stacks with other promos. At the moment, Hyatt is also offering a free night at a category 1-4 hotel after staying at four new brands by 31 December.

There is no need to register for this promo. To earn the bonus points, simply stay for one night or more. Award stays count too!

But there is a snag. The promotional period seems to vary for each hotel! Here’s the list of participating hotels, with the eligible promo period for each hotel given in brackets:

Bottom line

500 points isn’t a lot, but it’s nice to bag a little bonus here and there. Short one-night stays as well as award stays trigger the bonus, too. And the t&cs (see below) suggest that you can get the bonus more than once. Breaking a longer stay up into several shorter ones could be lucrative if you don’t mind switching hotels…
