I noticed a potentially interesting bonus points offer on my Amex Platinum account this morning: “get 4000 MR points when you spend  £350+ at participating Hilton hotels by 31/08/19″.

Just like with the regular cash rebate offers, you need to log in to your Amex account and save the offer to your card. I can only see the offer on my Platinum at the moment, not my Gold or BA card, but it’s worth a quick check to see if you’ve been targeted.

Note that the terms state that you need to pay at hotel checkout – online payments are excluded, so presumably non-refundable advance rates would not trigger the bonus points.

The list of participating hotels can be found here and at first glance it looks like all UK Hilton Honors hotels are included as well as a variety of others throughout Western Europe.

Bottom line

This is a decent offer if you’ve been targeted, but I’d be happier if the terms included online payments too.
