Hilton Honors has been emailing members to advise that their IT systems will go offline for updates, starting tomorrow – 30 October, 2018 – and likely extending into the 31st.
While Hilton’s systems are online, NOBODY will be able to access Honors member information – including their website, mobile app, call centres and hotel systems. You also won’t be able to use Digital Check-in (website or app) or Digital Key.

IT Updates Make Me Nervous!
I have no idea what Hilton Honors is changing or fixing, but hopefully they have exhaustively prepared, unlike Marriott’s botched merger with Starwood Preferred Guest.
Nonetheless, if you have any business to conduct with Hilton Honors – paid / award reservations, etc. – make sure that you get it done today.
I would also give Hilton Honors a wide berth for a few days after the website goes back online. Cancelling an award reservation is the sort of activity that might not work right until Hilton’s IT systems are stable again. Save yourself the potential aggravation and wait a few days if you can.
Hopefully these updates are nothing to worry about. Let us know if you experience any issues…
