As soon as you wonder “where are all this quarter’s hotel promotions“, two come along at once! Craig covered the new Hilton promo and now Hyatt has got in on the Autumn bonus action too, offering up to 60,000 bonus Points.

60,000 bonus Points sounds impressive, but I’m afraid you’d have to be a very regular Hyatt guest to maximise this one:

As you can see, to get the full 60,000 you’d have to stay 40 nights with Hyatt – and the promo only runs until 30th November 2018. In other words, you’d have to spend almost half of the next 3 months at Hyatt hotels.

If you did manage 40 nights, you’d effectively be earning 1,500 bonus Points per night, which isn’t terrible but isn’t great either. At the bottom of the scale, you’d be earning just 500 bonus Points per night if you completed 5 nights.

Note that you need to register before 15th October 2018, despite the promotion running until the end of November.

Conclusion

Obviously it’s good that’s there is some sort of Hyatt promo this quarter, but I can’t imagine many people will be rushing out to make new bookings because of this one. Hopefully we’ll see something more generous/attainable from at least one of the other big chains!
