I thought I’d just share a quick reminder that BA is still offering up to 16,000 Bonus Avios for flights until the end of June.

It’s very important to note that you need to register before you book any flights, in order for them to count towards the promotion.

• 4,000 bonus Avios if you complete 2 return flights (or 4 one way flights) with British Airways.
• 12,000 additonal bonus Avios if you complete 4 return flights (8 one way flights) with British Airways.

Participating destinations include the following countries:

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.

The following flights are therefore not eligible:

• UK domestic flights
• Long-haul flights
• Reward flights
• Codeshare flights (even Vueling flights with a BA code flying between the UK and the Continent)
• Oneworld partner flights

If you maximised the promotion, you’d effectively earn 2,000 bonus Avios per flight, which isn’t a bad rebate at all for cheap short haul flights. The main problem, of course, is that existing bookings don’t count (you need to register before booking!), which is a substantial limitation.

Bottom line

It’s easy to forget to register for offers, so if you didn’t register when Craig first flagged this one back in March, you’ve still got time to take advantage!
