The standard earning rate varies between 100-1,000 CashPoints per night (worth £9-£90), so with the 25% bonus you’ll earn a minimum of 125 CashPoints per night and potentially as much 1,250.

Norwegian CashPoints are worth 1 Norwegian Krone each, which is currently a little over 90p at today’s exchange rate. Therefore, with the 25% bonus, you can effectively get a minimum rebate of ~£11.30 per night and a massive maximum of ~£113 per night!

Note that the 25% bonus only applies to your first booking with Rocketmiles.

What is Rocketmiles?

Rocketmiles is a hotel booking site that allows you to earn a big stash of your favourite frequent flyer miles from your stays.

The rates that Rocketmiles charges can sometimes be higher than the best available elsewhere, so it always makes sense to shop around! If you value the CashPoints more than the difference in price though, you may still be happy paying a little extra, but do your sums carefully.

Rocketmiles can be particularly useful for booking boutique and non-chain hotels, where elite status and loyalty points aren’t a consideration.

A random Friday night at The WhiteChapel in London, for example, is £80 regardless of whether you book through Rocketmiles or any other booking site.

Booking with Rocketmiles, you’d earn 125 CashPoints (worth ~£11.30) from the stay though, which is a rebate of over 14%.

Bottom line

If you prefer frequent flyer miles and boutique hotels to hotel points and chain hotels, Rocketmiles can be a great option. You can choose to earn Avios or other types of miles rather than Norwegian CashPoints, of course, but you won’t get the 25% bonus with those!
