One of our favourite hotel chains (oh yes), Premier Inn is running its own take on Black Friday and offering a Purple Friday mega-sale.

London is being offered from £40 a night, and rooms nationwide from £35 (and indeed slightly below). Given that you can often book rooms for 2 adults and 2 children, and children eat free, there’s the potential for some real bargains here.

One of the key points with these limited availability sales is while you may not necessarily get the headline bargain rates, you can nevertheless get a good value room.
