This week really is an opportune time to do your Christmas shopping for those lovely little ones in your life. It’s “Toy Week” at TopCashback, and there are some genuinely massive rebates available.

Top of the pile are Toys R US and Lego, both offering a superb 20% cashback, which with the 5% bonus on withdrawals to Avios equates to 21 Avios per £1 spent.

However, there’s more.  You can also get:

  • 20% cashback at Build-A-Bear
  • 12% cashback at Disneystore.co.uk
  • 12% cashback at Early Learning Centre
  • 8% cashback at Hamleys

And more!

Toy Week runs for the rest of this week, until the end of Saturday.

Bear in mind this cashback/Avios bonus is on top of any deals you can find on the sites. So for example, you’ll get the free Lego Christmas 24-in-1 build if you spend over £60, plus 20% cashback on that £60+ spend. Just make sure you click-through via TopCashback first!

Toys R US also let you stack the discounts. Not only will you get 20% cashback, you’ll get a free £10 Gift Card when you spend £100 or more before 17 November.

Toys R Us is also offering a free 4 pack of mini-figures worth £14.99 when you spend over £55 on Lego

plus a free Lego Christmas tree worth £4.99 when you spend over £25 on Lego.

Using a quick example, the potential for a stackable deal here is incredible…

Click through with Topcashback and then buy the Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS for £175.98

  • Get £44 off the sale price
  • Get 20% cashback (£35.20)
  • Get a free £10 Toys R Us voucher
  • Get the mini-figures pack worth £14.99 for free
  • Get the Lego Christmas tree worth £4.99 for free
  • Get the £10 TopCashback bonus below.

So you’ll be getting Lego with an RRP of £219.99, but given the value of your savings, rebates etc you will have in effect spent just £100.80. Now I appreciate that assumes a valuation of the voucher/freebies at their retailing price, but you get the idea – it’s a really good deal if you use it to good effect.

Clearly you can choose your Lego toy spend to get over the £100 threshold, the above really is just an example.

All current Toys R Us promotions are here. However, be sure to click through via TopCashback when you actually make the purchase, or you won’t get the massive 20% bonus cashback.

I will certainly be taking this opportunity to do my Lego and other toy shopping for Christmas.

Plus – the TopCashback new member bonus

If you’re new to TopCashback and sign up via this link, you’ll get a £10 sign up bonus when you spend £10 at any retailer (including all of the above).

Slightly O/T: did anyone else sign up for a Nutmeg ISA via Topcashback? I signed up back in February and *still* haven’t had the money go to Payable, despite many discussions with TCB support. Not very impressive.
