If you’re lamenting the end of Summer, here’s a Biz Class bargain to brighten up a dreary Sunday: London Gatwick to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) in British Airways Club World for £1,105.
Availability is excellent until the end of the year, with fares then rising to a steady ~£1300 until the end of the current booking window.
To find the best fares, use Skyscanner or Kayak rather than booking with BA direct as the lowest fares on the BA site are £90 higher.
Good deal?
It’s not up there with some of the amazing Qatar Airways deals that crop up pretty regularly, but objectively it’s a very solid price. A lot of the best deals we flag require starting from somewhere else in Europe, and for many people, being able to fly direct to/from London without any messing about is worth paying a bit of a premium.
Club World obviously isn’t the best Business Class in the sky, but it’s still a comfortable way to get to the Caribbean.
Anything else?
If you credit the flights to British Airways Executive Club you would earn 280 Tier Points and 12,870 Avios (which I value at about £130).
A far better idea for many readers would be to credit the flights to Alaska Mileage Plan, where you would earn 21,450 Miles (which I value at ~ £350).

Wow, that’s one amazing price for CW. I paid only £100 less than that in fees on 2 x RTN CW via Avios recently to MLE.

Definitely pretty good for ex-London – and think of all the lovely Alaska Miles!
