If you have any hotel stays coming up in the next couple of weeks, I thought it worth reminding you of a couple of Hilton promotions that come to an end this month.
Double (or Triple) Honors points
This started in May, and concludes on 31st August. Everyone gets double the usual points on qualifying stays, and Diamond members get triple points. Craig covered it in this article this back in April as it launched:

2,000 bonus Avios per stay
For up to 5 stays, you can earn a bonus of 2,000 Avios per stay, in addition to regular Avios earned. To take advantage of this, you must have your earning preference set to Points & Miles, and British Airways as your earnings partner. This was also covered by Craig in this article.
Again, register here if needed
Is it worth it?
Arguably with only a couple of weeks left, maybe not so much. However, if you have the option, and aren’t chasing an Accelerate target with IHG for this quarter, it’s worthwhile taking advantage of both of these from Hilton. Both? Of course, this is Hilton and the offers stack nicely
Just to demonstrate the value to a Hilton Honors and Avios collector, let’s look at this on my account from a £170 stay in London recently:
Note the standard Avios earnings of 185, so the 2,000 in addition is a HUGE bonus, and over 7,000 Honors points is 70% of the way to a free night in an out-of-the-way Hampton. Of course, Points & Cash bookings mean that you can realise a small amount of points much more easily.
Looking at equivalent cash values (always a controversial subject, but let’s do it anyway) using our loosely accepted valuations of 0.4p/Honors points, 1.0p/Avios)
7,489 Honors Points – £29.95
2,185 Avios – £21.85
+ 8 Avios/£ for booking through Avios e-store *should* give me another 1,360 Avios
Total “rebate” £29.95 + £21.85 + £13.60 = £65.40
38% of my spend back as points? I’d say that’s worthwhile, and almost makes up for Hilton’s absence from the UK cashback sites.

Living out of UK in Europe …Can I still book through the Avios e-store ?

Avios terms and conditions (https://www.avios.com/gb/en_gb/about-us/terms-and-conditions?from=footer) do state you must be a resident;
“To be eligible to collect Points under the Scheme you must provide an address in the UK, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.”
Well, actually you must ‘provide an address’, so interpret that as you see fit 😉

Thanks for the heads up…. Just going to book an overnighter at Hilton Danube for a change of scenery. Take advantage of the 2000 + Avios and with Diamond earning its kind of a no brainer @ €81. Also going to take advantage of this one..
You will earn 18,000 Avios points when you take out a DIGITAL subscription to the Irish Independent or Sunday Independent newspapers for €160 (£146).
