So what is available?
Well it’s a UK-wide sale, so a lot. You’ll have to rummage around to see what suits you and at what price, but the £39 rooms are widely available.
There’s Manchester City Centre at £38.50:
Birmingham at £38.50:
and Reading at £39:
Exeter at £39:
Bear in mind too, that just because the Premier Inn sale relates to hotel rooms at £39 and under, there are still plenty of bargains to be had if you’re willing to pay a bit more.
There’s very central London (Tower Hill) available at £51, for example:
Why is this a great deal?
Believe it or not, Premier Inn is an excellent hotel chain.
If you’re travelling as a family, the £39 rate can easily work out at less than £10 a head. The standard room rate at a Premier Inn includes up to 2 adults and 2 children (15 and under). Crucially, that’s not just on the basis that you cram yourself in like sardines: most family rooms include a double or king-size bed, plus a single sofa bed and a pull-out bed. Cots are then also provided at no extra cost.
Up to two under-16s will also get their breakfast free when one adult orders the buffet breakfast.
