Over the last few weeks, readers of InsideFlyer have been ready with their cameras when Norwegian’s 737-800 with Anne-Cath Vestly on the tail (registration EI-FVM) landed at European airports. By snapping a picture of the plane and sharing it, readers were able to participate in a competition to win 2500 Cash Points.

We can now reveal that the lucky winner is Johnny Yttervik, who took this picture of the plane at Oslo Airport:

InsideFlyer took the opportunity to have a brief chat with Johnny after he got the news that he had won the contest:

Can you tell me about your travels?

“I love to fly with Norwegian and I collect CashPoints wherever I can. As an eager planespotter I travel a bit in Norway, but I also plan to travel in Europe this year earning / spending CashPoints – and taking pictures of planes! It had been a hobby for 2 years, and can be quite expensive.”

Where did you take the winning photo?

“This specific picture was taken at Oslo Gardermoen Airport when the 737-800 replaced a 787 going to Barcelona. A brand new plane, with one with my favourite childhood authors on the tale. Even I would be happy – though I hope it’s a 787-8 when I go to Barcelona soon 🙂 .”

What do you plan to use your Norwegian Reward CashPoints for?

“I had no hope of winning this competition. I often send images in such competitions and just hope for the best.

I’m looking forward to using my 2,500 Cash Points, but I have not decided exactly how I’m going to use them yet. The dream, however, is to sit in the jumpseat in a cockpit on a flight! “
