Until 23rd May 2017, with a bit of basic German (or Google translate…), you can get 4,000+ Lufthansa ‘Miles & More’ Miles for a 1-night hotel stay.

If you haven’t booked a hotel through the Miles & More portal before, you will get at least 1,000 Miles per stay + 3,000 Bonus Miles – so at least 4,000 Miles in total.

Changing  the website language settings seems to stop the bonus Miles showing up, so you do have to work it out in German (if you’ve ever booked a few hotels before, I think you’ll be fine!).

You need to book by 23rd May, but the stay can be whenever you like.

Some of the hotel prices are artificially boosted (like RocketMiles and similar sites often are), but most of the prices I saw were very similar to what was being offered by the major booking sites.

I had a quick look at Malta and Berlin, and both had plenty of cheap options:

The rates are in Euros, so bear that in mind when comparing prices and selecting your payment card (most credit cards charge a 3% non-sterling transaction fee).

With options under £40, this promotion is potentially even good for a mattress run if you really want to pick up some relatively cheap M&M Miles.

Whilst most popularly associated with Lufthansa, bear in mind that Miles&More is also the loyalty scheme for 13 other airlines (mostly those owned by Lufthansa such as Swiss/Austrian, but also LOT) and you can earn/use your Miles across other Star Alliance airlines too.

Conclusion

4,000 Miles&More Miles for a 1-night hotel stay is a great offer, if it fits your plans.

If you value Miles&More Miles as being worth 1p each, it’s not too hard to effectively get a 100% rebate from an hotel stay!
