If you have spent much time reading InsideFlyer UK, you will have noticed how much we love stacking different deals together in order to generate genuinely massive hotel discounts.
Any saving is great, but we really aim for at least 50% and you can currently do even better than that!
Yesterday we posted 2 separate offers from cashback site Quidco:
- Get an exclusive £15.00 cashback bonus for signing up
- Get a £10.00 bonus when spending £50+ with Holiday Inn, Marriott, Travelodge or Accor hotels
So, if you are a new a Quidco user you can get £25 back in bonuses + the standard cashback, for spending £50+ with any of the above hotel chains.
Stack that with my favourite regular hotel promotion – Accor Hotels ‘Happy Mondays‘, where Ibis hotel outside of London cost just £25 per night and you’ve got a heck of a deal!
£25 x 2 nights = £50 total, but new Quidco members would get £25 in bonuses back (+ £3.75 standard cashback).
The net total would therefore end up being just £21.25 for 2 nights – a staggering £10.63 per night!
Ibis hotels in city centres can easily cost £70+ for weekend dates if you just go straight to the website and book, so knowing about Happy Mondays can save you a massive chunk. Stack that with standard cashback, bonus cashback and the Quidco signup bonus and you can get an unbelievable deal!
Anything else?
Of course!
A 2 night Ibis stay would get you off to a very good start with Accor’s latest Bonus Points promotion.
If you fancy pushing the boat out a little more, Accor’s Novotel and Mercure hotels outside London cost £40 per night and you can currently get free Breakfast and free cocktails too. I stayed at the Novotel in Manchester very recently and ended up with at least £45 worth of breakfast and drinks for my £40 stay.
If you don’t fancy Accor (or find Happy Mondays booking conditions too restrictive), rooms at Travelodge hotels start at £29.00 all year round and would also earn £25+ cashback when spending £50 or more. Stays with Holiday Inn or Marriott would work too, though tend to be more expensive to begin with.
Bottom line
You need to book today for all of the above to work – these sort of deal stacks only tend to align for a very short amount of time!
Obviously, £15 of the Quidco cashback mentioned above is the new signup bonus so unfortunately won’t be available to you if you already have an account. You would still only end up paying less than £20 per night though (using the Ibis example), so it’s still a great deal.
Also remember that you need to actively opt in for for the £10 cashback bonus when spending £50+ with the hotel chains mentioned.
Deal stacking is all about keeping your eyes open and thinking flexibly – doing so can lead to some fantastic hotel discounts.
