The rules…
Entering your email address will sign you up to the InsideFlyer newsletter (if you’re not signed up already) but i) we genuinely believe the newsletter is a pretty good read (we genuinely scour through InsideFlyer articles to pick out the best ones for it) ii) it’s only sent out every 2 weeks and iii) you can unsubscribe at any time. You will however need to be signed up to the newsletter at the end of the day on which a prize is offered to be in with a chance of winning it.

Slightly OT: There is £15 cashback available on Topcashback for American Express gadget insurance. I had a quote for £3.25 for my mobile so thats a profit of £11.75 (or 1468 avios i think!)

Very interesting. Doesn’t appear to be a minimum length either, so it does seem you could cancel after month 1. Cancellation terms are also fair enough:
You have the right to cancel your policy up to 14 days after the policy start date with a full refund of any monies paid, unless you have made a claim. If you cancel after the first 14 days no further premiums will be payable from that date but any premiums already paid will not be refunded. Where you have requested us to cancel your policy, your policy will cancel at the end of your current billing period.
I’d personally wait for the cashback to land in my TCB account, although that does carry the possibility of the insurance running into month 2 (or 3…)
